I was sitting at my computer Friday evening, when I smelled some smoke. I looked out the bedroom window and saw a hugh plume of smoke coming from a few blocks away. So Adam and I hopped on our bikes and this is what we found...about a half-dozen fire trucks and what looks like a car fire in the driveway of a house and then the garage caught on fire. There was no roof left of the garage when the smoke started to clear (you can see the roof missing in the last picture). I'm not sure if the house was left or not because the smoke was so bad, we didn't get any closer. And I thought my friday night was going to be uneventful.

Amber & Josh Get Married
This weekend we hosted a wedding and recpetion for Adam's sister and her fiance (and our new brother-in-law!). We had about 50 people in our little backyard. It was lots of work, but worth it. It turned out great and we had a great time visiting with Amber, Josh and Brayden. On Sunday morning, Brayden got a gift from the Easter Bunny and then got to search the yard for all the Easter Eggs that the were left for him.
Who knew we could fit this in our backyard?

Caribbean Vacation
Adam and I just got back from a fabulous time in the Carribean on a 7 day cruise. We left from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and stopped in San Juan, St. Maarten, Tortola and Labadee, Haiti (a private beach owned by Celebrity Cruises). While in Florida, we also got to meet up with Matt & Nicole and had a fun night at the Hard Rock hotel and Casino. It was great to be able to see them. Our entire vacation consisted of laying on the beach or by the pool, eating great food and meeting fun people...which was everything we wanted out of this vacation. We were on Celebrity's newest ship, Celebrity Solstice, and it is a beautiful ship...and it had a martini bar!! We came home rested and ready for the next vacation. Here are a handful of pictures from our trip.

The beach in St. Maarten. The water was so clear, I could see my feet when standing in water up to my neck.
