Halfway There

Saturday marked the halfway point in my pregnancy...20 weeks! On Tuesday Adam and I went for the 20 week ultrasound and the ultrasound tech confirmed that the baby is a girl. She is very active and healthy. Now we just can't wait for her to get here.

New York City!

During the week of Thanksgiving, Adam and I spent 4 action-packed days in New York City. Adam has never been and we decided to take one last trip before the baby. We visited Times Square and saw a play on Broadway, strolled through Central Park, braved the crowed to view the Macy's Thanksgiving Day balloons, took the fairy over the the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, braved the cold and sat on top of the double-decker, open air bus for some great tours and much more. My favorite part of the trip was just experiencing New York.

A cold and cloudy day on Liberty Island
Radio City Music Hall decorated for Christmas

A whole gallery at the Metropolitan Museum of Art dedicated to the medieval ages. You could spend days here and not be able to see everything.

The NYSE and Wall Street. Security around this place was insane! Probably easier to get into the White House.

Getting a glimpse of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade balloons the night before (along with the rest of New York). Earlier in the day we were able to watch some of the rehearsals for the parade in front of the 16 story Macy's Department Store (which was another challenge).

From the top of 30 Rock, NBC Studios in Rockefeller Center. The only sunny day while were were there. The view was amazing. We also visited the top of the Empire State Building, but the pictures did not turn out well because it was at night.

Ice skating in Rockefeller Center...one of my must-do while in NYC.

Strolling through Central Park. Even in the winter with no leaves on the tress it is an amazing and beautiful place.
After four fabulous days in New York, Adam and I set off for Phoenix to spend Thanksgiving with Amber, Josh, Brayden, Janette, Granny & Papa. We had a great time relaxing and visiting with family for a few days before finally heading back to Chino. Love traveling, but always love coming home more. Hopefully our little one is a good traveler.

It's a Girl!

Adam and I went for an ultrasound last week. It was exciting because at the last ultrasound, the baby was just a white blob. Now we could see the hands, face, feet and we were able to find out that our little one is going to be a little princess! Now that we know it is a she, the fun can begin...picking out all the pink stuff! Now I just can't wait for her to get here. Here are a few pictures from the ultrasound.

...and baby makes 3

In case you haven't heard, we are going to have a baby! We had the first ultrasound today and got to see the little white spot on the screen that is the baby. He/she is 3/4 inch long and is expected to arrive at the end of April. We are both very excied and can't wait. Here is the first picture of baby Caudill.

San Francisco

Adam and I decided to spend a day in San Francisco this past weekend. We had a great little get away and the cold, rainy weather was a nice change from the 100 degree weather at home.

Since the Dodgers were in town, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to them on, so we bought some cheap tickets and headed to the ball park with many other Dodger fans (after making a quick stop at Macy's to get warmer jackets). The one good thing I can say about the Giants is that they have an awesome ball park. Just look at the view! You can watch all the ships going in an out of the bay while watching the game.
And the best thing about the night was the score and the two Dodger home runs (notice how many Giants fans are left:) I can't wait for October!

To the River...again

It seems like all we do during the summer is go to the river...but I am not complaining. We love it and we have so much fun. This time, Amber, Josh and Brayden met us there. It was great to see them again. Just wish they lived closer :( Just a few pics.

Adam's 30th Birthday

August 2nd was Adam's 30th birthday, so on August 1st, I threw him a surprise party. He had no idea and was totally surprised. He thought we were only going to dinner and I could tell he was bummed not to be doing something more for the big 3-0. I brought Vegas to Chino by renting a craps table and a couple of card tables for everyone to play (not real money of course). Everyone had a great time and boys all LOVED the craps game. Thanks to everyone who came. You all made it extra special.

Adam and I spent another fabulous weekend at the river with Russ, Ericka, Matt and Nicole. We had the best conditions on Lake Mohave on Saturday (see pictures below...it was like glass all day long), which made it ideal for wakeboarding, so we did a lot of that. The highlight of the weekend for me that I finally got up on a wakeboard! and on my first try of the weekend. . Going to the river have become one of our favorite things to do. Here are some pics from our latest outing.

My first time up on the wakeboard (can you tell how excited I was?)

Park Moabi Trip

We spent a July 17-20 camping at Park Moabi on Colorado River with Ericka, Russ, Stephanie, Vince, Nicole, Lisa, Josh & Christy and Josh's family and friends. It was 118 degrees during the day, so we pretty much lived in the water. Friday and Saturday we hung out at the sandbar north of Havasu. While at the sandbar, we ran into a one of Adam's high school friends and hung out with them on Friday and Saturday and had a blast. Sunday we made our way down the river to Lake Havasu to do some tubing and Monday we relaxed at Park Moabi and Russ and Adam did some wakeboarding. We had great food, great friends and a fabulous time!
