Lake Havasu

Adam has been dying to go to the river and take the boat out this summer, so we had a last minute opportunity and decided to take it. My uncle's friend invited us to stay at his house in Lake Havasu, so we joined my parents, my Uncle Loren, Aunt Janet, Aunt Elaine and my cousin Caity for a weekend on the water. It was also Stella's first time on the boat. I was a little worried about how she would do, but she did GREAT! She mostly slept while the boat was moving and we built a little tent for her to keep her out of the sun (it was only 110 degrees out there this weekend). The only bad part of the weekend was that I didn't charge the battery for our water camera, so the only pictures I have are the few my mom took.

Stella Swimming

For Christmas, Adam got me a Flip video recorder. I have taken lots of videos of Stella, but finally figured out how to upload them to my blog. This afternoon, we took Stella over to Don's pool again and she loved being in the water. Hopefully she will do this well when we go to the river :)

Amber's Birthday & 4th of July

Adam, Stell and I had a fabulous 4th of July weekend. On Friday night, Adam took me to an Angel game and got 2nd row seats on the third base side. The Angels lost in 10 innings after leading 1-0 most of the game, but we had a great time. It was also our (much needed) first night out without Stella.
On Saturday night, we went to Nicole and Matt's house to celebrate mine and Nicole's birthday. We are both July 3rd babies and celebrated together for the second year in a row. If I have to share a birthday, I am glad it is with someone fun like Nicole. On Sunday, we headed out to Pasadena to celebrate the 4th of July with the family at Russ and Ericka's new home.

Stella is a very photographed baby.
Russ and his dad, Vince, making fire on Russ' new BBQ for the yummy dinner. After dark, we walked a couple of blocks to the road that overlooks the Rosebowl to watch the fireworks. We stood on the side of the road with was seemed like thousands of others to watch the show.
Our 4th of July was fabulous and we can't wait to do it again next year! 4th of July is definately my favorite holiday.
