Stella's Nursery

Stella's nursery is almost all ready for her arrival. Wednesday, March 24th, will be one month until her due date. I can't believe that we only have a few weeks to go. I am ready to not be pregnant anymore and I think Adam and I are as prepared as we can to be new parents. I plan on sticking close to home until she arrives and Adam is squeezing in a few more business trips, but plans not to travel after April 10th so that he makes sure to be home when the time comes. I posted a few pictures of the nursery.

The closet is packed full of clothes and diapers!Hosptial bag is packed and ready (mostly). I made this bag myself...a little ambitious on my part, but love the way it turned out.

Sew Excited!

For our anniversary, Adam bought me a sewing machine! He thought it was an odd gift, but I have been wanting one for a while now. Both my mom and grandma have given me sewing lessons in the past, but I haven't done much since high school. I already have lots of projects lined up and have even finished a few easy projects to practice and get remind me how to sew (and of course, they are mostly stuff for the baby!).
My new sewing machine!
Lots of pretty fabrics to get me started. Cloth diapers that I turned into burp cloths.A sheet for the pack 'n play.

5 Years!

Last Friday, Adam and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. Adam surprised me with a trip down to Huntington Beach to stay the night at the hotel we got married at. It was so much fun. We got a suite that directly faced the ocean with two balconies. Such a great surprise.

Baby Shower for Stella

A few weeks ago, my mom and Ericka threw me a baby shower for Stella. Ericka did an amayzing job with all the food and decorations as well as being the party photographer. I am definately blessed to have such great friends and family. Thank you to all who braved the rain storm and came and made the day so special. I had so much fun putting away all the gifts and getting Stella's room ready for her arrival in 6 weeks.
