During the week of Thanksgiving, Adam and I spent 4 action-packed days in New York City. Adam has never been and we decided to take one last trip before the baby. We visited Times Square and saw a play on Broadway, strolled through Central Park, braved the crowed to view the Macy's Thanksgiving Day balloons, took the fairy over the the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, braved the cold and sat on top of the double-decker, open air bus for some great tours and much more. My favorite part of the trip was just experiencing New York.
A cold and cloudy day on Liberty Island
Radio City Music Hall decorated for Christmas
A whole gallery at the Metropolitan Museum of Art dedicated to the medieval ages. You could spend days here and not be able to see everything.
The NYSE and Wall Street. Security around this place was insane! Probably easier to get into the White House.
Getting a glimpse of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade balloons the night before (along with the rest of New York). Earlier in the day we were able to watch some of the rehearsals for the parade in front of the 16 story Macy's Department Store (which was another challenge).
Ice skating in Rockefeller Center...one of my must-do while in NYC.
Strolling through Central Park. Even in the winter with no leaves on the tress it is an amazing and beautiful place.

From the top of 30 Rock, NBC Studios in Rockefeller Center. The only sunny day while were were there. The view was amazing. We also visited the top of the Empire State Building, but the pictures did not turn out well because it was at night.

After four fabulous days in New York, Adam and I set off for Phoenix to spend Thanksgiving with Amber, Josh, Brayden, Janette, Granny & Papa. We had a great time relaxing and visiting with family for a few days before finally heading back to Chino. Love traveling, but always love coming home more. Hopefully our little one is a good traveler.
